Who We Are
The World Trust Foundation is a not for profit organization established in 1994. We are dedicated to bridging the communication gap between young people of different cultures through art, music and technology. The Foundation has established several Youth Programs and through its Affiliate Programs, has raised money to feed children, help disaster victims, bring educational supplies to orphanages and provide a place where like minded individuals and entities can come together to achieve the common goal of peace, understanding and enlightenment.
Our Organization's Mission
To ignite, empower and unite youth of the world, to create a culture of peace.
We also operate with the understanding of collaboration, rather than competition within the nonprofit arena.
Who We Serve
Our primary focus is on children and young people around the world. There 3 different catagories ranging in age from toddlers to young adults. Details of these and other programs can be seen under Youth Programs and at www.worldtrust.org
Our Programs
Youth Ambassador Program encourages young people ages 10-17 to get active, give back and become involved with their community. Each Youth Ambassador has the opportunity to receive awards and prizes for their good works as well as scholarshps to travel with us on project missions around the world.
Youth Ambassadors experience life changing events by becoming involved with other cultures and helping those less fortunate. These missions build character as well as giving them a more expansive view of the world and its people. Through this connection they become citizens of the earth and help create a platform of understanding and tolerance upon which will stand a true global community.
This year WTF launches the EARTH HEROES “Express Yourself for the Earth” contest, where youth from ages 12-17 can enter in 4 categories: ART, WRITTEN WORD, PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOGRAPHY. This culminates on Earth Day with our Annual Earth Heroes Awards Luncheon.
Young Leaders Network: helps mobilize young people on a mission from ages 18-26. These young leaders can join the network and sign up for a particular category: Social Change, Environment, Animal and Marine Life, Music and the Arts, Science and Technology, Sports and Nutrition.
With our collaboration model in place, these young leaders can work together and be affiliated with programs for which they are passionate.
Scholarships, awards and prizes are offered throughout 2008, giving them the chance to travel to meet face to face, as well as interact through our online television network that is ready to launch (pending final stage funding) in 2008.
Children’s Global Education Fund: we are building an online database where people can sign on and give micro-donations to children in need. We will have an adoption/sponsorship section, as well as a general fund to help bring supplies to areas around the world.

What Sets Us Apart
The World Trust Foundation functions through a spiritual model of collaboration rather than competition. To achieve goals that have defined results we have created an enviroment that stresses working together with other established organizations thus eliminating the need to "recreate the wheel". We believe in projects that effect lives and communities both locally and internationally. Through partnerships, alliances, and synergistic programming we raise money for specific programs, of which 90% or more goes directly to the program.
Our “Project Missions” give youth the chance to see other parts of the world and fulfill their wishes of making a difference. Ignite, Empower and Unite the youth of the world ensures a positive future for all.
Objectives for This Fiscal Year
To raise funds in order to continue building the global community for youth to be empowered and unite towards the greater good. To further our endeavors with more results oriented project missions and continue with the vision of connecting people of different cultures for the betterment of hummanity.
Recent Accomplishments
SECOND ANNUAL- FEED 333 – began November 20th and ends on December 21st, to raise money through the internet for micro-donations to feed children in the United States. The money was then divided up between our 3 chosen and screened organizations who are making the difference in the lives of many: Feed the Children, Children’s Hunger Fund and Houston Food Bank.
We also fed 2,000 families in South Central in conjunction with FEED the Children in Queens, for the largest food distribution in a single day in the history of the United States.
> Built 38 homes for families in Sri Lanka, in answer to the devastation post the tsunami and provided each home with bicycles for transportation.
> Created FEED 333, a viral campaign in 2006 where we raised enough money to feed 1.2 million children in the United States… all in 33 days. The second annual FEED 333 event is to take place November 2007.
> Established a scholarship program for orphans in Sri Lanka, offering over 40 children their own bank accounts, so that they can have funding when the turn 18, an age they would normally be set out on the street… These accounts will now them with a chance for a new beginning in a safe environment
> WTF and our partners, Airline Ambassadors, traveled to Cambodia, Thailand and El Salvador on several project missions bringing school supplies, beds, sewing equipment and hope; each project was cpatured on film and is content for our television program that will bring awareness to the general public and illicit their participation.
> Helped raise over $50,000 for an Aids village in Botswana that provided much needed supplies and a school house for the children.
