Organization Overview
About Us

Team Hollywood has been in existence for 8 1/2 years.  Performing games all over the united states and Mexico they have only lost one game.  They have raised money, clothes, food and medicine for organizations such as orphanages in Mexico, Money for the National Baptist convention, Each One Teach One, a number of urban and rural schools, elementary, middle and high school, mentoring programs in Cincinnati Ohio, Washington State, Washington, DC, Detroit, Kansas City, Columbia, Houston Texas, Port Smith Virginia, and Higgensville Missouri.

They have received a number of awards as well as the Key to the City in Higginsville Missouri and Seldovia Alaska.  They have conducted a number of basketball camps and clinics and have partnership with players in the NBA and NFL for toy distribution.

Most of these players are volunteering their time and on occasions donating their own personal money.  They believe in leaving no child behind for any event they are involved in.

Team Hollywood would like to share one of their most proudest moments.  It was working with the youths in Mexico.  A young child of 14 years old past away of Lukemia.  Her dying wish was to see a Team Hollywood game and we were able to do this for her and we still keep in contact with her family.

Team Hollywood would like to perform street ball games for other charities to raise money.

Team Hollywood Streetball came to Alaska in October 2007 and won the hearts of everyone they touched. Latino Heat, C-Nut, Chris Coal Train, Squirt and World champion Clay Johnson are all to be commended for their work, and inspiring messages for all the people of Alaska. The entertainment was outstanding as local celebrities including state Legislators gave us a rare treat as they played with Team Hollywood for a day of fun. Pete Adams (President of Team Hollywood) and Dr. Revely are both very delightful and I enjoyed every minute of their visit. Some of the children that they touched are still awed by their genuine personal interest that they took in each and every child they touched. If you ever have the opportunity to have Team Hollywood Streetball in your town, do not hesitate, and make it happen, you will not be disappointed.
