It was High School... What can I say? I graduated a year early! I was only 16 when that big day came around...

Southern Baptist Educational Center! I went there from 6th grade through 8th grade. This was a very troubled time in our history. Busing started so parents and churches got together and formed private schools all over the place! S.B.E.C. was one of these schools - my parents did not want me to be bused clear across town, riding a bus for hours a day, going into gang situations... they wanted me to be able to go to my neighborhood school! This Busing project did not work out! And many of the private schools did not work out either... S.B.E.C. school was sold to 1 of the main churches and is still in session today. Of course they have become SNOBS and not focused on the big picture! How sad... I have such good memories at the old school...
