About My Causes
I'm currently developing a program to expose children of the Southern Sudanese Community Center to kayaking. Through physical activity, video, lessons, and on water demonstration, I will introduce the concept and possibility of their participation in kayak racing.

Other Ways I Make a Difference in My Community and the World
I'm endorsing WaterforSudan.org on my boat, paddle, and racing gear during competitions and media events to create exposure for their cause.
Weekly, I speak to children of all ages at the Arco Olympic Training Center's Exercise the Dream classroom. I discuss nutrition, goals, sport, and what it takes to train for the Olympics. The goal is to encrouage living a healthy lifestyle and participation in sport.
I also speak and communicate the impact of recycling and use of biodegradable materials at the Arco Olympic Training Center to athletes, coaches, and staff.
Other Ways I Would Like to Make a Difference
I would like to start an on going kayak training program for the Southern Sudanese Community center. I want to give these kids the opportunity to represent the US, their new home, at a future Olympic Games.
I would also like to create an educational sports program, revolving around kayaking, based in Southern Sudan.
