About Us
A Secret Safe Place for Newborns of Tennessee works to prevent newborn abandonment by raising awareness of the Safe Haven Law.
The Tennessee Safe Haven Law allows the anonymous surrender of unharmed newborns up to 3 days old to any hospital, community health clinic, birthing center, or outpatient, walk-in clinic without fear of prosecution for the mother.
Who We Are
We want to save the lives of unwanted newborns at risk of being abandoned by their scared and desperate mothers.
Our Organization's Mission
The mission of A Secret Safe Place for Newborns of Tennessee, Inc. is to protect the most defenseless among us, newborn infants, by educating and informing women and communities of safe, secret options under the Safe Haven Law.
Who We Serve
Any mother who cannot or will not take care of her newborn may surrender her baby safely and anonymously.
