About Us
Shriners Hospitals for Children is a one-of-a-kind health care system dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Children up to 18 with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services at no charge in a family-centered environment, regardless of financial need.
Who We Are
Shriners Hospitals for Children is a pediatric health care system of 22 hospitals located throughout the United States, with one hospital in Canada and Mexico, respectively.
Nineteen Shriners Hospitals provide care for congenital and acquired orthopedic conditions, four hospitals provide acute and rehabilitative care for burn injuries, three hospitals provide rehabilitative care for children with spinal cord injuries, and the cleft lip and palate program is expanding to multiple Shriners Hospitals. Some Shriners Hospitals
offer care in multiple specialties.

Limited-Edition Challenger SRT8 Auctioned to Benefit Shriners Hospitals
The Dodge Challenger, an iconic muscle car of the 1970s, is back after a 35-year absence, and a limited-edition 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 will be up for auction on eBay from Dec. 1 to Dec. 7 to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children.

What Sets Us Apart
Shriners Hospitals for Children provides specialty pediatric medical and rehabilitative care at no charge to patients or families. We do not submit bills or request reimbursement for clinical services to anyone, including third-party payers, such as insurance companies or government entities.
Approximately 90 percent of the annual Shriners Hospitals operating budget is spent in direct support of the organization's mission of treatment, research and teaching.
