Overview
About Me:
Causes close to my heart are those that: enhance the well being of youth through sport, enhance sufficiency (to help alleviate poverty), are against discrimination, promote animal welfare, and those that provide opportunities to children through education. I seek to put my organizational and trouble shooting skills combined with my honesty, passion, behind-the-scenes persona and loyalty towards more charitable causes. I am a police brat from Malaysia residing in Switzerland. I trust both, my intuitions and common sense. I avoid being stifled by the lack of creativity & imagination, and the lack of a desire to explore and achieve. To give it my best is a constant goal of mine. I tend to be loyal and protective over my closest and dearest and I am thankful for all the people who have crossed my path and those who have stopped to stay.
Things I Like to Do For Fun
All things tennis, cooking for friends and family and experimenting with new cuisines, reading , watching sports, drama series and romantic comedies on the TV, my cats, movies & music, traveling and just chilling out with the hubby!
Issue(s) I am Passionate About
Sports and education. Education in any form is empowerment to one's self. Lessen poverty & discimination. The welfare & prevention of cruelty to animals.
An Issue I Would Like to Learn More About
Poverty and how we can help alleviate this worldwide problem. It's a root of all evil. Animal welfare. Discrimination.

Title : Co-Owner - Retail /Event Management
I sell old and used (between 100-150 years old) Chinese furniture which are all refurbished. I employ two single mothers to help me.

I have an event management part of the business and have helped sponsor together with my husband, a tennis clinic for around 400 kids and a junior tennis scholarship. Having worked at IMG (International Management Group) for the late Mark H. I Donate to these nonprofits:
I donate to a variety of non-profits.
Other Ways I Make a Difference in My Community and the World
I try and be available to other foreign nationals who live in Switzerland, as it is a constant challenge both culturally and emotionally, to co-exist in a conservative, non-English speaking country. I recycle as much as possible: paper, glass, metal, clothing and books. I try and use energy saving bulbs and appliances, 'WWF' approved cleaning products and detergents at home, and buy cards and gifts from non-profit online stores where possible.
Other Ways I Would Like to Make a Difference
Increase my donations and offer my skills to be put to use.
People I Would Like to Collaborate With
Those who make a difference to the lives of the under privileged, the suffering and the forgotten ones in this world.
Projects I Would Like to Collaborate on
Those that make a difference to: the lives of the under privileged through sport, education, health and literacy, the welfare of animals and those that alleviate poverty and discrimination.
Projects I Need Help On
Save the Children, which has been working in Sri Lanka for more than 30 years, is currently helping 30,000 children and their families in the camps, distributing food, water, clothes, shelter and kits to help care for infants. Save the Children is supporting local authorities in providing temporary education facilities and 'child friendly spaces', encouraging children to play in safety within the camps.

Donations towards their cause can be made at www.savethechildren.org.uk.
Skills I Would Like to Share
Self-management, critical thinking, decision making and my math background. My organizational and trouble shooting skills in combination with my honesty, loyalty, compassion and determination enables me to ultimately get things done.
Skills I Would Like to Learn
To swim so that I can enjoy water sports (water skiing, sailing) with my husband and, to play the guitar.
Ideas I would Like to Share
To spread the word of giving by emphasizing that every donation made, no matter how small, will ultimately make a difference.
