About Us
Founded and led by Emily Schaller, the Rock CF Foundation is dedicated to increasing the quality of life for people with Cystic Fibrosis. With the help of a core group of volunteers, the Foundation utilizes the arts, entertainment, fashion and fitness to support research initiatives and heighten public awareness in the fight against cystic fibrosis.
Who We Are
The Rock CF Foundation wants to rock cystic fibrosis so hard that it stands for "cure found!" Founded in 2007 in Detroit, the Rock CF Foundation is hoping to become leaders in the fight against cystic fibrosis.
Emily Schaller who founded Rock CF has cystic fibrosis and started the foundation because she wants to educate people about the number one genetic killer of children and young adults. Not enough awareness is out there so we're trying to change that and show people how CF affects the body but also what research is being done to change that.
Our Organization's Mission
Founded and led by Emily Schaller, the Rock CF Foundation is dedicated to increasing the quality of life for people with Cystic Fibrosis. Who We Serve
Patients, families, friends and anyone affected by cystic fibrosis.
Our Programs
Currently a majority of the funds we generate go straight toward research. Also our line of merchandise serves as a great way to reach out and spread awareness. In the works for late 2008/2009 are scholarships for CF students that want to study the arts & entertainment in college. A scholarship will also be set up for patients that participate in fitness and are proving that exercise is helping maintain their health.

Leadership Profile
The Rock CF Foundation was founded by Emily Schaller, a 26 year old patient living with cystic fibrosis (CF). Emily has been fundraising for CF ever since she can remember and decided that she will not stop until CF is cured. Emily loves the arts, entertainment and fitness. She is a drummer and is well connected in the music world which she uses to hold annual benefit concerts. Currently Emily is training to run her first half marathon (13.1 miles), this is a great feat. For the second time, this summer Emily will lead a group of bike riders from Detroit to Chicago to raise funds and spread awareness for cystic fibrosis.

What Sets Us Apart
Rock CF is led by someone who understands and can relate to the people we are trying to help. Because Emily takes the bull by the horns she is able to share her knowledge about CF research and educates patients and families across the country.
Music speaks on so many levels to everyone and we want to be right there to reach people about cystic fibrosis through music. We want to use the arts, entertainment, fashion and fitness to teach people about CF and include that demographic with fundraising. The entertainment industry is filled with great people that are eager to help reach a wide audience.
Objectives for This Fiscal Year
We are setting high hopes for the rest of 2008. The City to City bike ride in August is hopefully going to grow into something beyond belief.
The official online Rock CF store is being launched this summer. Customers will be able to wear their favorite organic Rock CF shirts to show their support for cystic fibrosis!
