Who We Are
Imagine a six-hour globally telecast Musical Prayer that originates from the world’s most sacred sites, such as: Mount Shasta, Stonehenge,The Great Pyramids, Mount Fuji, Peru's Machu Picchu, Chitza-Nitza and promotes a unifying message of love for one another. This event, scheduled for September 19th of 2009, is called Project-Peace on Earth. This worldwide concert is being produced by Mike Mitchell (Executive Producer of Live-Aid and Producer of 8 Olympics) and Hal Uplinger (Co-Executive Producer of Live-Aid).
Our Organization's Mission
Our mission is to produce an annual globally-telecast, Live-Aid-like concert featuring Superstar musicians performing their most Sacred Music from the world's most sacred sites/concert venues. We plan to reach over 2 billion people, help raise awareness, and at the same time through a concurrent telethon, raise hundreds of millions of dollars to address pressing issues affecting children worldwide.
Who We Serve
With the proceeds raised through the Project-Peace on Earth worldwide concert we will track how these funds are used in a Reality Extreme-Village-Makeover TV show called “Project-Peace on Earth,” so that everyone who has contributed even the slightest amount of money gets to see how their contribution has transformed the life of child.

POVERTY
“1.1 Billion people live in extreme poverty earning less than $1 per day. These people live chronically hungry, are unable to get health care, lack safe drinking water and sanitation, cannot afford education for their children, and lack rudimentary shelter.” – The World Bank

MALNUTRITION

“There are an estimated 110 million unexploded landmines worldwide. These landmines remain active for up to 50 years. The cost to build a landmine is approximately $3. It costs up to $1000 to remove a single landmine.” - The United Nations

Our Programs
PEACE CREDITS: Peace Credits will work much like environmental Carbon Credits however, the offset will be to enable and empower Corporations and individuals to purchase Peace Credits in the form dollar donations and/or sponsored programs that might incentives volunteerism; help those in need; empower kind acts; mentor; provide water, medical, food, clothing, shelter, educational resources to those in need; create infrastructure for social change; remove landmines; create micro loans; establish homeless empowerment centers; bring self-esteem, yoga, and music programs into schools; provide for parenting education and empowerment seminars.
PEACE HAS BEGUN: The Peace Has Begun Campaign has launched as of March 7th, 2008. This is a pre-promotional series of events leading up to the Project--Peace on Earth worldwide music concert. It defines an ambitious and unique branding campaign designed to captivate our global audience and to inspire everyone to make a tangible one-small-step towards making the world we all live in a better and more peaceful place. The Peace Has Begun campaign is designed to re-position/re-brand the word "Peace" from an idealistic noun into a tangible verb; as a verb, “Peace” is now transformed into actions that create real and quantifiable benefits for individuals, families, schools, communities, and cities throughout the United States and Canada.
At the Peace Has Begun concert and rallies, attendees will be able to enroll and to participate in activities such as: meditation and yoga classes, they can hear lectures, and purchase a variety of inspirational products that include: the Peace Has Begun USB wrist-bands and MP3 players that will contain music, concert footage, and audio-video excerpts from leaders in the fields of Parenting, Domestic Violence Prevention, Self-Esteem, Exercise and Nutrition, Reflection/Meditation and Yoga that are designed to empower the individual and improve the quality of life in local communities by reducing teenage obesity, substance abuse, domestic and gang violence and graffiti. As the tour gains media publicity, high-profile speakers/facilitators would attend the concerts and rallies, along with local high profile political, civic, academic and spiritual leaders.

PROJECT-PEACE ON EARTH REALITY TV SHOW: An Extreme-Village-Makeover Reality TV show. Each week, a celebrity host and/or philanthropist leads a humanitarian effort to address and resolve issues of health, food, clothing, shelter, education, and economic sustainability in a remote global community. The host, supported by a team comprised of experts in the fields of cultural anthropology, science and technology, medicine, education, engineering, construction, business, logistics, fundraising, and international politics (perhaps a retired ambassador) focus their support in a way that effectively works with, listens to, and learn from the existing cultural model of the indigenous people in the village so that a mutual and empowering exchange results.
HEALING OUR NATION: Decommissioned military bases are converted into empowerment centers to assist youth-at-risk, the homeless, early parolees and first offenders, and to help persons with drug and alcohol addictions develop the educational and life skills necessary to re-enter society and make meaningful contributions. Base personnel previously laid off, Americorp participants, and a team of leading human potential experts will serve as administrative staff, program developers and trainers, therapists, doctors, mentors and role models for those in the program.

What Sets Us Apart
Our commitment for this globally-broadcast 6-hour Musical Prayer is unique: it will be designed to communicate--from the first sound, from every spoken word, every note, each lyric and every song played thereafter--a transformational goose-bump experience, one that at times tearfully reminds us of the horrors that our children have endured, one that most importantly inspires each of us to experience our own innate divinity as a reference point to forever recognize this same divinity in others, in animals, and in all of nature.
We believe that music is the language of the soul, and that it is the most powerful way to touch the heart and transform awareness. We believe that you understand the transformational power of Sacred Music. What we mean by Sacred music is this: great composers like Bach wrote the initials “A.M.D.G” (short for the Latin phrase, “Ad Majorem Gloriam Dei,” which means “To the Greater Glory of God.” We believe that when musicians create and perform from a devotional and self-realized state, this intent, at the level of quantum physics, formats their music into an energetic formula that expresses the enlightened perspective of love or what Pythagoras called, “Music of the Spheres.” This type of Sacred Music is represented by a series of frequencies and harmonics that would be analogous to what Abraham Maslow would have described as a state of “Self-Actualization,” or what Yogananda would have called a state of “Self-Realization.” This state would consist of thoughts like those of love, compassion, forgiveness, empathy, etc. . . . all of the higher orders of thinking that moves consciousness from the linear and dualistic view of the world . . . right/wrong . . . good/bad . . .connected/separate into a more holographic view of understanding of the Divine inner connectedness of all things.
We believe that the soul already operates on the frequency of the “Music of the Spheres,” or OM, Love, Christ, Buddha, Krishna, or Mohammad Consciousness. Respectively, when we experience such Sacred Music externally, physiologically through the ears, and intuitively through the psyche, it is like two computers talking the same protocol, the Law of Sympathetic Vibration dictates that the mind of the listener will resonate correspondingly. Therefore, the process of listening to spiritually-inspired or Sacred Music, establishes the protocol whereby the mind stills and the body relaxes.
We believe that in this still state-of-mind, the mind is moved into a present-time reality where the sacred vibration of harmony (OM, Aum, Amen, or Cosmic Vibration) is least distorted and the mind is quiet enough both to witness and to remember the Song-of-the-Self, or the mystical principle of the “I AM,” the Divinity within. Here, the mind is moved from passive hearing to an active listening of the “Word,” or “Primary Harmony” within. In other words, the process of listening to Sacred Music empowers the mind to perceive and to release illusions of fear, pain and suffering so that it experiences and remembers the reality of the love it already is. Thus, atonement and the integration of Divine Will, are made possible.
