About Me :

I am an early retiree that was looking to find a "cause" to support and Gilda's Club Grand Rapids became that cause. The care and support they give to people living a cancer journey is amazing. Ironically, two years after serving there as a volunteer, and a donor, I was diagnosed with cancer myself. They helped me as I went through surgery, and chemotherapy, and now I attend the support groups to help to me "live" with my cancer.

Issue(s) I am Passionate About

Support for those with cancer or those that love someone with cancer. Why? My family has been touched by cancer a lot! I wish to help out.
