About Me :

I'm the Web Marketing Director for Food For The Poor. I'm am responsible for FFP's online fundraising program. My role has two primary components: 1) I develop the Web site to complement and augment existing marketing and fundraising programs and 2) I actively promote the site as communications tool to acquire new donors for the organization that would not be reached through other channels. Food For The Poor is the 3rd largest international relief and development organization in the nation, working in 16 countries in the Caribbean and Latin America. FFP provides emergency relief assistance, clean water, medicines, educational materials, homes, support for orphans and the aged, skills training and micro-enterprise development assistance. It is a wonderful organization and I'm touched daily by the calibre of people and the good work that we do.

Issue(s) I am Passionate About

I'm passionate about empowering women by building their self esteem. I think that women often feel bad about themselves because of the unrealistic expectations that are presented to them.

An Issue I Would Like to Learn More About

I'd like to learn about how to help foster care kids that are about to age out of the system. I think they are at a great disadvantage in our society.
