About Me:
Hello everyone, My name is Jay and I am from South Texas. I am honored to have this chance of becoming a part of the Make the Difference Network. I am really excited to have the chance to network with others who care enough to provide help when help is needed. In addition to making donations to numerous non-profits through MTDN, I also hope to network with various organizations, and offer my assistance outside of the world wide web by organizing or assisting any fund raising events.I am a strong supporter in helping find a cure for cancer, supporting our soldiers who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms, helping bring an end to child abuse and neglect and supporting animal rights. Feel free to drop me a line anytime. JayG

Title : Owner - Concert and Events Promotions
I have been involved in the entertainment industry as a small time concert and event promoter since 1993. A majority of the events I work with are for fund raising efforts.

Among my most accomplished achievements are raisng money for the American Red Cross during the 1998 and 2002 South Texas Floods, San Antonio Aids Foundation Benefit Concert in 1999, and I worked as an assistant producer in a fund raising effort in 1999 for the Texas Special Olympics, an event hosted by the Dallas Cowboys Organization.

I like to host, promote and assist in putting on events that helps generate funding for non-profits who in turn help make a difference in our world.
Causes And Collaboration
About My Causes
My purpose in life to is to be a helpful as I possibly can be. Sometimes it may just simply listening when a friend has a problem, other times it is giving the shirt off my back to someone who just lost theirs in a disaster.
I Donate to these nonprofits:
Rebuilding Together
Gridiron Heroes
Glamour Gals
LA Childrens Hospital
Wild Animal Sanctuary

AND Many other worthy non-profits

I am very passionate about helping our wounded soldiers. I also give to the many non profits who help give animals a second chance at life.I also donate to organizations who help fight against child abuse and neglect.
I Volunteer at These Nonprofits
I am a volunteer with the American Red Cross, and will be joining the Habitat for Humanity program in the very near future. I am also a sponsor of the Cowboy Captial Pet Assistance League, and I volunteer in promotions and fundraising efforts.
Other Ways I Make a Difference in My Community and the World
I am an active Skywarn Storm Spotter for the National Weather Service, in which I basically provide a public service to several counties in my area. When severe storms approach, I go out and put myself in the direct line of these storms, and make reports to the NWS so people in these communities can take shelter and safety measures to protect themselves from the possibility of a disaster. I am also working on becoming a HAM Radio Operator, in which I will provide communications assistance to Emergency Responders in the times of serious disasters such as tornadoes, floods or fires..
Other Ways I Would Like to Make a Difference
I would very much like to become more active in getting the word out about MTDN, and the many worthy charities here. I am deeply inspired by the mission put forth through MTDN and I would like to help MTDN grow strong.
People I Would Like to Collaborate With
Entertainers, Actors and Musicians who share the same ideals in helping make this world a better place.
Projects I Would Like to Collaborate on
I am interested in collaborating with projects that helps in Animal Rights Issues, Child Abuse issues and Natural Disaster Relief efforts.
Projects I Need Help On
I would like to collaborate with concert and music promoters in putting together a series of concerts and events to help raise more money and awareness for Animals Rights and Childrens Cahrities.
Skills I Would Like to Share
In addition to experience as an event promoter, I also have basic carpentry skills, and able to assist in long distance transportation needs if needed.

Thank you so much for your donation towards feeding our cats! Believe me, they really enjoy dinner-time each night! It's a joy to see them learn that meals come every night, and they don't have to worry anymore when they might see food again. Thank you!

Thank you for your friend request! Our non-profit is still working on our profile, we have just become members in the last week. We're very excited about the opportunity to join this group! I love that you're a supporter of various animal causes, particular the premarin mare rescue. As a horse owner (and rescuer), that is a cause close to my heart. Check out our rescued exotic cats at www.insyncexotics.com.
