About Us
The James Correa Foundation(JCF) is a nonprofit organization assisting low income families with free medical aid. Our teams of volunteer surgeons specialize in cleft palates, cleft lips, deformities of the hands and feet, skin grafts, and ear implants. Prospective patients family income must fall below 80% of median income. Reconstructive surgery is available to children from 3 months to 18 years of age. We have been serving our local communities and impoverished areas in Guayaquil, Ecuador for sixteen successful years. Please join our humanitarian cause by donating and bring a smile to a child. All proceeds are to benefit the children. JCF is operated by 100% volunteers. There are no salaries just healing hands and caring hearts.

Our Organization's Mission
We, at the James Correa Foundation, strive to improve a child's life by providing reconstructive surgery. The surgeries provide emotional and physical recoveries. Sadly, these children are victims of ridicule.Once they see they have a smile or an ear it provides them with hope for a normal life.We specialize in birth defects such as cleft palates, cleft lips, skin grafts, deformities of the hands and feet, and ear implants. We believe in quality care not quantity.

What Sets Us Apart
What sets us apart is our 100% volunteer team. We do not pay salaries or services to our team. We also try to walk the extra mile by providing physical therapy and dental services for the children. The children's journey does not end with a surgery, that is the easy part, the recovery is what makes it difficult but worth every minute.
Objectives for This Fiscal Year
James Correa Foundation objective this year is to raise $35,000. This will provide preoperative and postoperative treatment, surgical equipment costs, anesthesia, physical therapy, medical equipment, and dental services.
Recent Accomplishments
Our recent accomplishment is JCF-Humanitarian Mission XVI, Guayaquil, Ecuador in the Naval Hospital. We had 77 surgeries and 80 dental services in one week! 157 children have a second chance for a normal life. We are proud to mention not one complication occurred. All surgeries were a success.
