About Us
Camp Korey's mission is to provide children with serious health conditions the opportunity to experience the joys of childhood in a summer camp setting. In this safe environment they are able to bond with other children who share their challenges and desire to just be a kid.
Who We Are
Camp Korey is a threshold member of the Hole in the Wall Camp Association. All the Hole in the Wall Camps share a common theme of building self esteem and restoring joy and laughter to children who suffer from serious illnesses. Weeklong, medically supported summer camp sessions are offered completely free of charge to the families and provide not only an opportunity for kids to bond with other kids, but also offer caregivers and families a often much need respite.
Our Organization's Mission
To honor the courage, strength and determination that children and their families endure while battling life threatening and critical illnesses; to provide a safe, friendly and medically sound environment for them to just have fun and be kids.
Who We Serve
There are over 20,000 children living in the Northwest with serious or chronic illnesses such as cancer, cranial facial differences, kidney disease, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, sickle cell anemia and a host of other serious health issues. With much of their lives focused around hospital visits, they often don't have the opportunity to experience many of the joys of childhood. Camp Korey is a place where they can reclaim bits of their lost childhood.
Our Programs
At Camp Korey, children come together in a safe and supportive environment with other children facing similar issues. At Camp Korey, kids can make new friends, begin to develop their potential, their self-confidence and discover a world of possibilities, not limitations.
A summer camp session runs approximately 1 week. During this week, children enjoy many of the activities of a traditional summer camp including, swimming, horseback riding, fishing, boating, arts and crafts, and of course, the silly olympics. Children even have an opportunity to display their many talents in the very popular talent show.
In addition to summer camp programs, Camp Korey will be busy year around with programs that support our camp mission, including Sibling Camps, Family Camps, and Bereavement Camps.
Upcoming Events
Our first family camp is scheduled this October. Many of our summer campers will be returning with their families.

What Sets Us Apart
Through extensive research it was determined that the Pacific Northwest had no organization offering the high caliber of camp programs, medical care and personalized support that distinguishes the Hole in the Wall Camp Organization. This outside research firm found over 20,000 Northwest children at any given time could benefit from Hole in the Wall Camp programs, not to mention thousands more family members and caregivers.
