I'm not into summing myself up into one short little paragraph. I am not the clothes I wear, or the movies I watch. I am not my body, or who my friends are. I am not my religion. I'm not where I live. I just AM. That silence behind all of the conscious thinking & noise...that's who I am. Buuuuutttttt if I HAD to sum myself up, I think I'd quote my good friend Josh who describes me as "a genuingly good, socially aware person/nerd." Only my best friends can call me a nerd, because they're nerds too. We like it this way.

Other Ways I Make a Difference in My Community and the World
I think it's the small things I do daily that will eventually make a difference in the world. I recycle, carpool, use energy smart lightbulbs, use natural cleaners such as Method products, and of course, turn off the water while brushing my teeth! =D

In addition to doing things at home to help better the environment, there are also many things for people to do online as well.

I use GoodSearch.com as my search engine(http://www.goodsearch.com/Default.aspx) to help donate money with every click to Angel PAWS, a local animal rescue shelter in my community.

I am also an active member of the Care 2 online community (http://www.care2.com/click2donate/) & participate in the "Click to Donate" services. With every click, a donation is made to help stop global warming, save the rain forest, the ocean, children in need, and various wild animals all over the world.

So far, I have helped saved 114 squarefeet (& counting!) of the rainforest by using the (Lil) Green Patch application on Facebook. (http://apps.facebook.com/greentrees) Just by sending the link to my friends, the world is becoming a greener place!

FreeRice (http://www.freerice.com/index.php) is an online vocabulary game you can play that donates 20 grains of rice to the UN World Food Program with every definition of a random word that you get right. It's fun, and not only is it great that it helps to end hunger, but it also helps to expand your own personal vocabulary!
People I Would Like to Collaborate With
Honest, open-minded people with good souls. People who work in small organizations with good causes. Anything that deals with helping the environment in any way, shape or form...whether it be with the planet Earth itself, or the animals & human beings that walk on it.
