Organization Overview
About Us
Cafe Forty-One:Eleven was founded to introduce a relevant way to connect with disadvantaged and at risk youth with community support. Trained volunteers build relationships with high school students and young adults in a non-directive social setting. They identify literacy, life-skill, mentoring, leadership and career training issues and make referrals under the Cafe Forty-One: Eleven umbrella. Our mission is to connect with those young people in greatest need of humanitarian, educational and occupational assistance. Our Starbucks-like atmosphere provides a welcoming place for everyone in the community. It has been designed to protect the identity of the patron in need while staffed by a trained non-professional for appropriate conversation regarding the short and long term needs of our guests. Cafe Forty One:Eleven is staffed by mature adults who provide for humanitarian needs, nutritional advice, preventative healthcare, literacy and drop-out prevention, life skills and character mentoring. Our target audience is homeless young adults, the disadvantaged, the mentally and physically disabled, youth who are at-risk for drug addiction, illegal behavior and sexually transmitted diseases. We also serve veterans and senior citizens in need to companionship and community service. During our years of growth, we have cultivated community partners from every sector, including local and regional residents, businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, government and churches. Each sector helps us achieve our long term goals by providing their resources to reach a very difficult to reach population of our society. Cafe Forty-One: Eleven innovates a new leadership model by connecting the stable organizational structures of the community to work together to provide all residents and guests with a place of opportunity to receive structure, education, inspiration and civic support without the loss of dignity.
Who We Are
Cafe Forty One:Eleven is a faith-based community cafe open to the public with a focus on connecting with high school students and young adults who are disadvantaged, disabled and at-risk for depression, loneliness, illegal behavior, drug abuse, violence or inappropriate sexual activity.

We provide light meals and a place to socialize at no charge to our patrons. Our volunteers are people who base their practical ideals on Biblical world view.

The volunteers are the role models who ensure our mission is achieved. They provide the caring attitude, the listening ear and the knowledge and authority to create a safe atmosphere and provide for the needs of the guests on every level.
Our Organization's Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe public place, a well rounded support system to assist our guests in motivation, goal setting, accessing educational and vocational opportunities and development of career paths.

We hope to offer more services in personal hygiene, home economics, learning and behavioral disabilities and personal leadership.

We are currently developing a support system for entrepreneurs to innovate in the culinary, fine and performing arts as well as learning business and financial management. We plan to include the Green Energy sciences, engineering, mathematics, environmental and agricultural sciences.

We strive to provide specific assistance that addresses the needs of the unmotivated as well as the motivated high school student or young adult.
Who We Serve
We serve all members of society. The Cafe is open to the public. Our passion is helping young adults get the foundation they so desperately need for a successful life. We assist the homeless, the disadvantaged, the dysfunctional, the mentally and physically handicapped, the at-risk youth, veterans and senior citizens.
Our Programs
Our immediate programs are aimed at developing leaders who understand and care about those experiencing humanitarian needs. We believe we now understand the character of the "need" we are meeting and we are ready to begin partnering with our allies to address nutrition, preventative healthcare, literacy, drop-out prevention, life skills, character training, leadership mentoring. Currently, we are positioned to offer legal assistance, community service opportunities, literacy classes, after-school programming for performing and fine arts opportunities, counseling, nutritional assistance, life skills for those who have experienced traumatic events and character development for all young people.

Please view our "Wishes" for an in depth look at the current programs we hope to adopt. Our goal is to provide a non-residential social setting guided by non-professionals to give long-term support to high school students and young adults while they are continuing to grow up without neglecting the urgent needs of those we identify as high risk.
